Global TV surveyed Saskatchewan residents regarding their support for a domed stadium in Regina. It was much less in Saskatoon than Regina. Lee Harding of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation says that if the stadium cost $500 million and the cost was shared evenly by all levels of government, the cost to Saskatchewan residents living outside of Regina would be $172 (assuming 1 million residents and including the federal portion of $5 per capita). At a population of 205,000, it would cost reach Regina resident $985, including the taxes paid to all governments.
